Meet Our Team Overview

Dr. Regan Ackerman was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY. However, she attended the University of Florida on a soccer scholarship, and she returned to Kentucky to attend the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she graduated with honors. Plus, Dr. Ackerman has been restoring smiles to the Louisville area since the early 2000’s.

Lisa Wells

Lisa Wells was born and raised in Louisville. She has been in the dental field now for 30+ years. Lisa graduated from the University of Louisville’s dental hygiene program in 1993.

However, passionate about our patients, she works with each individual to find the right solutions so they can have the smile of their dreams and be able to confidence they deserve. Plus, Lisa loves spending time with her two sons and two grandsons.

John Ackerman

John Ackerman is Dr. Ackerman’s husband. Born and raised in Louisville, John’s passion for dentistry and patient care is how he and Dr. Ackerman met over 15 years ago.

John loves working with patients and finds implant dentistry very rewarding, especially getting to see the impact of the transformed beautiful smiles. When not caring for patients he loves spending time in the garage restoring, building, and fabricating old cars and race cars.

A great experience altogether. Had a total lower denture with 6 implants. The whole office staff and Dr. Akerman could not have been more helpful, friendly and professional. The procedure was relatively painless, moderately painful after the numbness was gone but just a day or two of pain medication and and then tylenol for few days. Dr. Akerman lined up my lower implants perfectly so my bite against the uppers worked great. My appointments were always on time, never kept waiting , a first for me in my medical visits. Thanks to everyone.
